MY FAVOURITE TIPPLE
Wine
every time
sweet or dry
white red or rose
any time night or day
white red or rose
sweet or dry
every time
wine.

- Comment from author about the poem: I have posted this little 'un before as part of a fusion but want to add it to my ebook so I'm posting it again here. Plus another watercolour - the 11th century Church which stands in my village at the end of lane where I live.

Mine is a Rioja - Cheers!
Good watercolour as well.
Yes Rioja is fine - in fact most reds are my preference - have a dislike of beer - does this make me odd?
Peculiar but not odd. I like proper beer good bitters, pale ales and miles. But I do prefer wine and scotch - not at the same time!
Cheers Michael. 🙂
Salute ! Yes I'll have another.
🙂
Very neat and well crafted. A good pint of real ale served without too much head and about room temperature. Can't beat it.
I'll stick to wine - beer bloats me out too much
Wine which maketh GLAD ~ The heart of Man ~ Beer I fear makes Man morose ~ and MAD ! Thanks for sharing your bottle ~ love reverse poems ~ please check mine today ~ Thanks BRIAN. Interesting that you posted a GRAVEYARD with a wine poem. If you search the gravestones you will find an epitaph which reads: SIR WILLIAM OVERTIPPLE Here lies a Knight ~ Fell out of bed while drinking RED ~ Should have stuck to WHITE ! BRIAN
Thanks Brian for what you wrote
but beer makes my belly bloat
now wine makes me float
like an elegant boat.
Good job. Enjoyed Michael.
Thanks Frank - have another.
nice work Michael!
Cheers Willy

Good poem Michael
But alas I am not

Welcome
Wine nor beer for me, but for the poem, serve me another one! Great write...!
Water? Thanks for looking in/
Not a wine drinker, but I like your poem.Is this another form I don't know about, or one you created. It's very clever and probably hard to write. I did enjoy it though. - Phil A.
Not aware that it follows any form so I guess I invented it - fun to write but, as you say, not as easy as it looks. Thanks so much for commenting Phil.
