Spring has come, it's finally here!
Putting me in a mood of good cheer.
The snow has gone and melted away
Replaced by the falling raindrops today
The birds are finally here to sing!
There's something missing, just one thing.
Flowers are absent still. They haven't peeked through.
I am waiting for the daffodils so I can give some to you.
Finally the doldrums of winter are gone.
I've never been so happy to see my lawn!

and as winter turns reluctantly to spring, for the clouds above the city, there's one last fling. Swallows build their nest, chaffinch sing. and the sun strolls into town like a long lost king. great write Christina S.

Good write. Spring is here and in the here UK the flowers are starting to abound, in fact the daffodils in my garden are starting to fade and the rest of the plants are starting to show forth.
Thanks so much! I'd love to see a flower! But, alas, we have snow in our forecast one last time. But I have spring on the brain and in my heart!
