I look into the void
And flow with the colours,
Flow into the mystery within,
The mystery within the art,
The art from the imagination,
The imagination of the artist.
The artist whose mind is full of colours,
Full of colours and words,
Both of which pull me into the ether,
The ether where I see the void.
The void which leads to immortality
The immortality of My Spirit.
My Spirit who comes from,
And goes to,
Infinity.
Dedicated to Michael Edwards. Thank you Michael for the inspiration.

- Comment from author about the poem: I read Michael Edwards poem "Immersed in Time" yesterday. He had one of his abstract paintings attached and it gave me the inspiration to write these words. The painting is by Michael and is the one that inspired me. Thank you Michael.

A fine write G. I looked into my mind, and found an infinity..... of nothing! Well, maybe one or two ideas. The rest were on holiday!
Nice GF. This flowed inward, well.
A well expressed journey into the mind's unknown and fine tribute to Michael's wonderful art-work - your words express the depth which we as souls have available if only we cast doubt aside and enter infinity's void. A most compelling read G.F.
Thank you Fay, most kind.
I am so touched by this - it just has to go into my favourites - what a fine write - thank you so much for the dedication Goldfinch.
The dedication is rightly deserved. Thank you Michael.
Lovely write 😊
Thank you Jooles.
I'm careful with the humour about 'brain cells' on holiday. I wouldn't mean it in any offensive way - people with mind problems, etc. But my mind may have always been a blank. No change there then?! heehee.
a deep dive inward, and that painting is still looking at me? nice goldie. ww
Thank you WW, that painting is quite something.
Thanks BROTHER ~ ART ~ MUSIC ~ POETRY etc are all part of beauty and inspiration in pictures ~ rhapsodies and words the music of the spheres. Michael's poems are a great blessing to MPS and they do indeed stir the muse. This one reminded me of the beautiful Hubble Telescopes images in deep space and the sentiments of ethereal infinity mentioned in your poem. Thanks for caring enough to share ! BRIAN
Thank you Brian.
Lovely poem.
Thank you, much appreciated.
Love the flow of this with a perfect ending to it. Superb.
Thank you Jarod, much appreciated.
Wow, this is really good stuff. Infinity is so transcendent that to phantom it is to enter into wisdom. Great write!
Thank you rr, my absolute belief is that the Spirit that is me has come from infinity and will go to infinity.
Very good GF60
