It's okay

lovelydarkanddeep

Even when the colors fade,

Even when the love diminishes,

Black and white were still made,

And the beginner of love never finishes.

When the white is bright,

When the black is dark,

We see a never-ending light,

Among nights' keen bark.

Life is made for traveling,

And love will never end,

Our lives are finally unraveling,

And broken hearts now start to mend

When we humans start to doubt,

That we won't see their stars,

We remember what it's truly about,

And that the stars we see are ours.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I don't know what kind of poem this is, it looks like a sonnet, but it's not. It's something I created when I was bored at Sunday service. I actually liked this one. Hope you other will like it too.

Thanks for sharing ANGEL ~ this poem has a lot of positivity and has made us all think about LOVE & LIFE ! I agree with you when we each stand back from our own lives & loves there is much we can thank GOD for ~ and when we count our Blessings and our Stars ~ we can all say IT'S OK ! The form of the poem is very elegant a quartet of quatrains with an abab cdcd efef ghgh rhyming pattern similar to that used in the English Sonnet. A sonnet is restricted to 14 lines ~ yours has 16. Also the lines in a Sonnet must have a strict meter such as iambic petameter (10 syllables per line). Had you condensed verse 4 to 2 lines "When we humans start to doubt ~ We remember what it's truly about" It would have been a 4442 English Sonnet. Thanks for caring and sharing ~ love it ! Hugs ~ BRIAN.

Lol yeah it started as a sonnet, then I just didn't want to so I just did whatever. I know what a sonnet is.

When I came to see the sun
I met the pretty nature moon
Who took me around the town
      Where we couldn't be alone

That is our life ;unrevealing secret
      Are Sad,poor,tears,dark and light
what we need ?this not important,if we be through night
