The
Sun
Arose
Shone on us
And our day ahead
That day so full of joy and love
As my lover and I head towards our horizon
Knowing that our day together
Will be full of love
As our day
Leads to
The
Moon

- Comment from author about the poem: This is written as a FIBS - fibonacci sequence - where the syllable count on each line is the total of the previous two lines and the reverse applies on the reverse FIBS.

Good write, and those syllables thought out. Erm.... and then it rained?! No, Porchi, rain is not in this poem! heehee.
It only rains over those eating pork pies.
Very neatly done. Cleverly constructed and flows well. Great ideas.
But, i mean really... A poem structured on the Fibonacci sequence. Jeez I thought I was wierd .
Weirdness comes in all shapes, sizes and colours.
Thanks Garry.
Great piece - you have encouraged me - I've made a note of the form and will try it out sometime.
Thank you Michael, go for it.
It is a fairly well known construction that I have know about for a number of years, I have written about a dozen FIBS,
Very romantic write Goldfinch 🙂
Thank you WBL romance is never far away in our lives.
Great write
Thank you Tony, much appreciated.
Thanks BROTHER ~ great strucure and great content ~ linking the celestial bodies (Sun & Moon) with love ! As I sometimes croon to ANGELA "Night & Day you are the only one" I've tried a CARBONARA must also try a FIBONACCI ~ Thanks BRIAN
Thank you Brian. FIBS are great fun to do but the supyllsble count can be frustrating sometimes.
Thanks Ephraim, much appreciated.
I have no idea what you
Are saying in the comments
Box but I love the poem..
I'm afraid I'm illiterate and
Have trouble with longer
Words, my vocabulary is
A bit basic but I get along.
Spell check and predictive
Text are my savour...
