We talk often of feathers in our caps
When we have achieved something,
But I now have a feather in my hand,
A quill to write down those achievements.

Oh yes, we both had them at school, didn't we, millions of years ago? Well, around 1066 anyway. Did you get a quill from that pterodactyl?! Good write.
That pterodactyl you kept as a pet? It would let me near it as it thought I was after your pork pies!!
Well done. A fine example of the classic 4-liner. A much underated form. Certainly not enough of them on MPS.
Short, vivid and creates an image in very few words.
Thank you Garry.
Yes I enjoyed this - well written.
Thank you Michael.
Thanks ANDY ~ A quintisensial quatrain and a perfect picture ~ thanks. If you voice be silences ~ then let you quill quiver with indignation ! BRIAN

Thank you as well Lamar, all I do is write words from my mind and spirit.
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
