The Walk (A Nort the Newt story)

Tony36

Nort the newt and Sally the salamander

Went for a walk in the woods together one day

They were just enjoying the day together

Enjoying nature as they walked

The giant trees

The shorter shrubs

The vines

They walked next to the river

Fish swimming along

The water bubbling along

At the top of a big hill

That looked down into the valley below

When they reach the clift

Sally commented " Oh, what a beautiful view."

Nort Agreed "Yes it is quite beautiful"

They hug each other

Gave each other a quick kiss

Turned around

Walked back the way they had come

Sounds a bit like the walk my wife and I had this afternoon along a little babbling brook out in the countryside - we didn't kiss though but did have a hug standing on a little cattle bridge over the brook. Might end up calling my wife Sally if I'm not careful.
