I rode a painted pony
to try to get a thrill
all for love and glory
into the battle of the will
engaged in battle furious
I tried to meet your needs
I was only curious
to know if I could bleed
I rode a painted pony
and we went 'round and 'round
you poked me with your jousting lance
and knocked me on the ground
and I saw the painted herd
was moving up and down
