AT THE CONCERT

Michael Edwards

AT THE CONCERT

The audience waited

wide eyed expectant

their dreams expectations

like shadows on bookshelves

woven and plaited

in gentle transition

the music began.

The audience beguiled

at the turning of pages

of each scripted movement

the strings gentle playing

entwined with emotion

and shadows of passion

the music played on.

May the music always be there in our lives.

    • Michael Edwards

I listen in the car, I listen whilst painting - yes always there.

I am the same, I am listening now as I write.

Like your paintings the words of this poem make music to those who love beauty - a lovely posting Michael.

Abstract ? I see none in either the painting or poem . Words make music in our head's and paintings decorate the walls of our hearts . And all the arts are a Symphony .

YOUR ABSTRACT MICHAEL ~ is very Kadinsky ~ very rhythmic and musical ! A live Classical Music Concert is the closest we ever get to "Heaven on Earth". Some of my extended Family are Music Teachers and it should be a compulsory subjects up to 16 ~ it is very important to Community adhesion. Scrap TRIDENT and channel the money into Education and the NHS ! BRIAN
