- Comment from author about the poem: A gift of Flowers ~ on any occasion ~ is always very welcome. In the UK we have several excellent Mail Order Companies that deliver Fresh Flowers to the door. Most people don't eat flowers (some do !) so they are often accompanied with CHOCOLATES ~ Yummy. In my experience Ladies are more au fait with the language of flowers and their significance ~ so Men ~ think before you choose. The appellations I give are only a guidance ~ BLOOMOLOGY is not an exact science ! Comments welcome ~ Fragrant Love to All ~ BRIAN XOX

You got there - great work B
Thanks MICHAEL it does take a bit of time ~ but I hate to miss a letter out ! The plus of ABCDarian Poems is that they are essentially alphabet driven one~liners and they don't have to rhyme or scan. However it is important that the "information" presented in the poem has a "ring of truth". Yours BRIAN
A fine write again, part 2! I'm an Orchid-ee, cos I give off a fragrant aroma, I hope! Oohh, let's do 23 letter acrostics. Leave out Q, X, and Z! Q may as well be 'QU' anyway! lol.
Thanks STEVEN for the suggestion it could end the frustration of searching for Q X & Z. In the past i lave use QUCUMBER (as a salad veg) XAGONAL (as a shape) ZENTIPEDE (as an insect) and nobody noticed ! As MOSES once said \"Rules were made to be broken !\" BRIAN
Thank you for the second bouquet Brian.
Thanks ANDY ~ pleased you enjoyed it ~ BRIAN
Great job on the second half! Love the picture of those tulips--so tired of the usual red and yellow. But according to your poem, I'm hoping to get some! lol Hugs-Christina
Thanks CHRIS we had some MAUVE / WHITE tulips in our local park this year ~ perfection ! I know you have beautiful eyes and very kissable lips CHRIS so your Tulips are on their way. Not PARROTS (red & yellow) but pale mauve ~ just for you ! LOL Fragrant Hugs ~ BRIAN
Great write
Thanks TONY ~ pleased you liked it ~ BRIAN
