This Poem is presented as an ANAPHORA in which each line
begins with the same WORD ~ rather like a LITANY. It is an
Elizabethan (1st) form and can be sung to Plain Chant ~ OK

this reminds me of a homeless man who started to build round houses for other homeless people out of plastic bottles. a scheme has now been made up to keep the work going. good work BRIANSODES,
Thanks for your comment KEVIN ~ A very apposite use of recycled plastic bottles ~ Yours Brian
Good write and good reminder.
Tanks ANDY ~ Pleased you liked it ! We all need to be more GREEN ~ Yours BRIAN
I'm glad your angst is not bottled up . You've cut them off at the bottle neck . Now that they have bottle bottom from too much cake . Your broken bottle diplomacy was from too much shake . Soon the Earth will be one big bottle dome . So raise you drink it's bottle up .
HI SL ~ CONFUCIUS ~ He say ~ Better to drink beer straight from Bottle ~ saves water ~ glasses ~ soap and you can't dribble from a bottle ! BRIAN
Ha ha , LOL , thanks for the good laugh .
Made me think - an AMPHORA is a kind of bottle too. I was around ages ago when they invented them - so I say, in my pretence for being millions of years old! Oh vanity - it's so no-one guesses my real age! A fine write B.
Thanks ANDY ~ WORDS ARE WONDERFUL ! An AMHORA is a Grecian Urn for holing wine an ANAPHORA is also a Greek word and it mans CARRYING BACK ~ The poetic implication is the the first word of the last line is "carried back to each preceding line ! The Greeks always have a word for it ~ BRIAN
You always amaze me with the new forms of poetry that you come up with! I always enjoy when they rhyme. Fantastic job! I'm a recycle nut so I hope all my bottles are being reused somehow. Great poem! Hugs-Christina
Thanks CHRIS ~ Pleased you enjoyed it ! Rhyme is important help the flow when you recite. ANAPHORA poems are common in spiritual chants etc and are lovely ~ Hugs for you too BRIAN
And yet another new form to have a go at - good one B.
Thanks MICHAEL ~ My role on MPS is to Entertain ~ Enlighten ~ Educate ~ ANAPHORA verse was common slightly before your time (Elizabethan !) there are many examples in Gregorian Chants and Shakespeare etc ~ BRIAN
Bottles of great rhyme Brian!
So true, RECYCLE! Lol I always save my glass bottles and reuse them for whatever or turn them into potions for my Halloween witch station😅. I have so many my mom tells me I'm crazy, but always gives me some really neat shaped ones when ever she can. Love the rhyme, love this poem!
OOOOOOOOOO MANDI ~ Love to see your Halloween Witch Station ~ sounds spooky ! MOMs are a great source of Bottles and everything ! Bottles (epecially GLASS) are awesome and i save my WINE BOTTLES for the ART CLASS ! Pleased you liked the Poem ~ Yours BRIAN
