Ode to Peanut Butter

Mandi

Oh delectable peanut butter

You creamy goddess of the pantry

Your crunch and texture of pleasure

Oh delightful peanut butter

The way you make bread devine

How you stick succulently above the tongue

Oh scrumptious peanut butter

My mouth gleeks with jubilation

What is life without your presence

Oh titillating peanut butter

You tease my tastebuds with ecstasy

To have even just a little is exquisite

Oh darling peanut butter

I am your devotee

And you are my sanctity

Ohhhhhhhhhh MANDI ~ you are so lovely to lavish all your poetic skills on something ~ which some take for granted ~ PEANUT BUTTER ! It has a unique taste & texture and transforms all it touches into the "Food of the Gods !" It has made me want to write a PB Acrostic ~ will let you know if I do. Thanks for sharing your love ! Yours BRIAN Please check my Ode for Today ~ PB is one of God's Blessings ~ Thanks B.
