Concerned was the man from Tyreen
at the amount of TV that he’d seen
which he cured – so he thought –
when he went out and bought
a TV with a much smaller screen.

Thanks PH - you are free to use it if you want - come to that if you want any cartoons/drawings just let me know and I'll draw them up - always looking for something different to do.
Thank you Michael
As soon as I have time
I'm going to write it
And will be getting in touch
Where do you get these limericks from Michael - so full of fun.
I always carry a sketchbook and a note book and whenever an idea comes to me I make a note of it - always on the lookout for ideas for cartoons etc.
It's a problem for Men
Veggie Growers and Hatters
They find in the end
That size ~ really Matters
Things look less obscene
On a smaller screen !
Thanks for caring ~ love the cartoon ! BRIAN
Please check my BEE POEM ~ Thanks BEE.
They do indeed - cheers Brian.
Sniffer mouse-- giggle.
Small screen-- bucking the trend for larger and larger ( with less useful content)
The sniffer mouse is so good at detecting cheese. We haven't gone for a really screen at home as it tends to dominate the room plus we often don't watch it in the evenings - there is so little quality stuff on it these days - or was it ever thus?
Grew up with 3 channels. One hour of news. Ads were only 10-12 minutes of the hour. Tv went off at midnight at which time the national anthem was played. Lots of interesting shows and actors. No transforming monsters. A musical performance by a singer would have the singer or small group on stage with very simple backdrop, not dazzling lights, explosive fire burning, back up singers gyrating half naked sequined bodies.
Love your humor, Michael, and how it inspires more in the replies.
Thanks Louis - Yes I love the fun too - just posted a humorous poem on an art site and its the same there.
