LIMERICK 33

Michael Edwards

A blanket clad man from Peru

whose yearning for home grew and grew,

kept searching in vain

for a suitable train

on the No 4 platform at Crewe.

A man on the Platform @ Ealing
Waited in vain for a train to Darjeeling
        The guard on Platform 3
        Sotto voced to me
If he comes in the CAFF
We can all have a LAFF
And serve him with Darjeeling TEA

Thanks MIKE for limerick & cartoon

        • Michael Edwards

There was an old man from Darjeeling
Who boarded a bus bound for Ealing
          He read on the door
"Please donโ€™t spit on the floor"
So he stood up and spat on the ceiling

          • Michael Edwards

No - platform 9 3/4 is reserved for the new tilting trains - I believe they call it the Swing line.
