Moral conscience...
Fear not the swings and arrows Bourn, fear not the sword, the axe, the throne.
But fear your abstinence and demure, allowing unjust to hold and Roam.
Grab tight your conscience and let it guide,
To the path of right and not turn and hide....
The compass within your self placed morality,
Will help you choose, your side in humanity....
Starvation should not be a choice of son or daughter,
One eats loaf, the other drinks water.
Least we forget, how the heavens turn,
The desert once green, but now dust and burn.
A life for the many, not for the few,
From seeds sewn strong, a million acres grew....

Isn't it awesome how at times the words just present themselves! I know of what you speak ... it has, on occasion, been my experience as well Good write, P.H.!
Thank you Louis
Beautiful writing. Sometimes we do the best work when we feel that there is nothing left. I have to admit that I am a very lucky guy. I did have my ups and downs, but nothing serious. And as far as writing is concerned, I feel the same way as many of you. The words just appear somehow begging to be put on paper. It may be good, bad, or ugly, but I don't care, I just wanna write.
Thank you Fred

For those lovely words
MPS is full of many
Wonderful poets of
Which you are one
It is so easy to be
Inspired by you all.
JC - a new type of politician never before known in modern times - I can see how he may have inspired these superb words put together with passion and feeling. An inspired piece of writing.
Thank you Michael
I must be honest
I was very sceptical
About half at first
But when you look
Into what he believes in
And his record over the
Years, you see he is a
Real human being
And not the usual politician
I was the same but I am really warming to him - and his appearance at the festival was quite inspired. He appeals more to the younger generation and as they say 'catch them young' - I am sure he will continue to 'grow' as a major force in UK politics.
Very good write. It always surprises me from where the inspiration sometimes comes.
Thank you GF60
I suppose we take
It from what we see
And learn and on

Thanks FRIEND ~ for an inspiring poem about JC an inspiring Preacher of Equality and Justice ! I am a Socialist (Old Labour) so I have backed JC from the beginning. His zeal reminds me of another JC a Preacher of Righteousness who campaigned in the First Century AD ~ He too was despised and rejected of Men but today has 3 Billion followers worldwide. ~ Watch this Space ~ JC rules ~ OK ~ Your BRIAN Please check my Cri de Coeur for Mother UK ~ Thanks B
