Color of Skin

Tony36

White

Black

Red

Brown

What does the color of one's skin mean

Absolutely nothing

The color only shows on the outside

It is the person within

That really matters

The soul

The personality

The inner being

These are far more important

Than the color on the outside

So stop judging people

By outward image only

Start seeing the person within

Such good advice in these line Tony - -- agreed skin colour means nothing at all - - hearts are what matter.

This means so much to me - my wife is from Burma but I'm pleased to say she has always been accepted and never suffered from race issues - oh if that were only the case for all people who differ from the indigenous race.

It is sad that we have to be told, but little children never have any problem with skin color before they are "contaminated" by the outside. By the way, my wife is Chinese, but all I see is the woman I love, not the color.

Very, very true. I do wish more people would live to this ideal of life.

Lovely poem, I only wish more people would think like this! We live a world full of judgement and prejudice and even amongst all this judgement it’s refreshing to read the goodness that’s spread from your words and that goodness comes from you! Thank you
