Scented Solutions.
I found this quote inspirational.
"Love's gift cannot be given, it just waits
to be accepted." (Anon.)
The suchness of love's fragrant devotion
lies in ways
its acceptable potion is made.
Being tenderly constant sweetens trust
in each other
without which contentment can fade.
Disbelief dilutes strength of intentions
and effort
for doubt renders eagerness inactive.
Best motive stales faced with indifference
counting too
costly perfume for tolerance factor.
The keeping of togetherness fragrance
lies a lot
in the way scented solutions are made.

Fay,
like the quote, love the poem. There really is a lot more to love than just saying "I love you". I think the last two lines of the poem I just published could be quoted here: Love.....is a bit of courage and a whole lot of work.
Very true Fred - - love will be ever a challenge and certainly needs courage and work.
Thanks FAY for another lovely Love Poem and complimentary visual. In my experience the "Fragrance of True Love" eludes the Perfumers of the World. It is unique to each favoured Couple and can neither be compounded or bottled ! Thanks for caring and sharing ~ Yours BRIAN
I agree Brian - love can never be bottled, sold or bought so it eludes many who want only words with no soul.
Great work Fay - a gem
Ah thanks Michael - Glad you discerned it as perfumed with word-gems.
As your poem states so well, love requires "Being tenderly constant" in the relationship. It requires an effort and attentiveness on the part of both. It cannot be taken for granted. This is so well messaged in your fine poem, Fay. Thank you!
Yes Louis I do agree that love needs effort from both - thank you for your continued support of my writing efforts.
Great write, love is so much in our lives, can it ever be completely explained.
Too true dear G. - love can never be completely explained. Thanks for that thought.
Another fine write Fay.
Thank you my friend - so glad you liked the read about love.
Well written and expressed
Your visit and read along with your valued comment is really appreciated Tony my friend.
