Ephemeral dustings of fugitive dew

settled on lychgate and gravestones and yew.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Well I really have run out now but I've got several couplets and monostichs which I often jot down when a thought comes to me so I'll post one each day to fill in the gaps - here's the first. Hope you can work out the carton.

    • Michael Edwards

      Okay:

In 1066 with all good grace
I bent down to tie an undone lace
But that was when everything went awry
I received an arrow right up my third eye
