Psalm 25 v.1 - 8

1. Unto you, LORD, I lift my soul

Come to me, make me whole

You are my God, I trust in you

Refresh me, me renew

 

2. Let me not now here be ashamed

I your promise have claimed

That you are always here with me

My Lord and God you be

 

3. Let not my enemies o'ercome me

And grant no triumphs be

To them which transgress without cause

They continue, no pause

 

4. Let none that wait on you be shamed

Nor be their name defamed

Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me

And your paths may I see

 

5. Lead me in your truth and teach me

That I in you be free

You the God of my salvation

The great, the holy one

 

6. On you do I wait all the day

Help me to watch and pray

Remember, Lord, your sure mercies

And lovingkindnesses

 

7. For such have ever been of old

From years to years retold

But remember not my sins here

I trust that you are near

 

8. The sins of my youth put away

I came from night to day

When you forgave me, with pardon

You the Father's own Son

 

9. And too remember me, me see

According to your mercy

Keep me in mind, for your goodness

Sake, and me do here bless

 

10. Good and upright the Lord true is

I know it, even this

Therefore in the way will He teach

Sinners, His grace them reach
