What did you do ~ YESTERDAY
Did you take time out to stop to pray
Or help a Lost Sheep tp find his way
Or post a poem ~ to have your say
What did you do ~ YESTERDAY ?
What will you be doing ~ TODAY
Be glad it's Friday and get your pay
Thanks GOD you're not out of work today
Help a Neighbour ~ who's life is grey
What will you be doing ~ TODAY ?
What will you do when it's ~ TOMORROW
Comfort a Friend ~ who's life is sorrow
Give someone 10 dollars ~ who asked to borrow
Focus on self ~ and plough you own furrow
What will you do when it's ~ TOMORROW ?
How do you spend each precious HOUR
Grooming yourself and taking a shower
Hating you Job ~ but loving the Power
Dreaming all day ~ in your Ivory Tower
How do you spend each precious HOUR ?
PROCRASTINATION ~ The THIEF of TIME
I've dillied & dallied ~ so he stole mine
Putting things off is such a crime
Seize the Day and Squeeze the Lime
PROCRASTINATION ~ The THIEF of TIME
Thanks for visiting ~ comments welcome ~ Love BRIAN
Whether you're a Pauper or a Prince ~ on the stroke of
midnight we all receive a fresh and equal allocation of
twenty~four hours. How we value them and how we use
them is largely our responsibility ! We can waste time ~
abuse time ~ just let it flow away ~ OR ~ we can value
each minute and make the most of it ~ CARPE HORA ~
SEIZE THE HOUR and use it profitably ~ Yours BRIAN XOX

- Comment from author about the poem: TIME is one of the few things in life ~ where we are all equal ! We all get a pristine allocation of 24 precious hour each day ! So none of us can make then excuse "I haven't got enough time". Never waste time USE IT ~ DON'T ABUSE IT ! Comments welcome ~ Love to ALL irrespective of your TIME ZONE ~ BRIAN XOX

A fine write Brian. Ohh, I spent too long in vanity - on the sherry! heehee. I'm 99% tee-total!
Don't worry STEVE @ your stage in life you need a little relaxation so get your feet up and sit in the sun with your chilled glass of Harvey's Bristol Cream ! Thanks BRIAN.
Only cos I'm very old - some of us on here was at The Battle of Hastings in person in 1066, so we say! lol.
Bristol Cream came in a different shaped bottle in 1066.
Doesn't it just. I make sure I do something worthwhile every day. Sometimes for my myself. sometimes for my wife, sometimes for others - often something for everyone. Today I have to sort out the Autumn programme for the local art club - not something I particularly enjoy doing but if I don't do it who will? Great write Brian and so true.
Thanks MICHAEL ~ pleased you use your daily allowance (24 golden hours) wisely ! Thanks for your comment ~ BRIAN
Value each moment as they come, every moment is special and will not come back. Good write Brian.
That very true ANDY we van neither go forward or back in time ~ which is why the present (V 2.) is always much more precious than the PAST or the FUTURE ~ Yours BRIAN

I suppose too many of my hours are spent off in other worlds, living others lives. But such is the life of an author. This was a great write, worthy of the time it took to write this comment!
I loved the poem, very neat and I liked the rhyming pattern
