We all have a HOLIDAY LIST ~ but JAPAN seems elusive. One of my FEMALE FRIENDS was very Lucky. Her Husband was going to JAPAN for three weeks with his BOSS and the Boss's wife was also so going. She asked SUSAN if she would like to accompany her ~ which she did all expenses paid ! She loved it ! Thanks for you comment ~ BRIAN

I wish I could visit faraway places such as Japan, they would probably help with inspiring the worlds I write.
                  Great write as always!

                  • BRIAN & ANGELA

That is true AZURA ~ JAPAN is awesome and everyone wants to visit ~ from the UK you have to budget about £5000 for two weeks (abut $6500) it is expensive. Schools an Colleges arrange cheaper Group Educational Visits (£3000 for two weeks) bur only "wealthy" families can afford to send their KIDS. We have lots of exchange trips with Europe but fewer with Japan & China & Russia etc. Thanks for your comment ~ Oriental Hugs ~ BRIAN

Excellent write on Japan. I've never been. I don't even know anyone who's been to Japan. Very interesting cultural piece!

                    • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks CHRIS ~ The UK has always had strong cultural & trade links with JAPAN ~ we have Japanes Centre in London and Japanese Restaurants and Japanese Gardens all over the UK. We teach Japanese Language & Culture in our Universities ! Because we are 40 times smaller than the USA everyone has an opportunity for a taste and a feel of JAPAN. Remember also that HAIKU is a Japanese art form ~ so every time we read or write one (in Japanese ~ English or another Language) we are touching and experiencing Japanese culture ! Thanks for sharing ~ Oriental Greetings ~ BRIAN ~ Please check my Poem today on FABRICS and add a Holiday destination to my FUSION ~ Thanks B..
