THE ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION CYCLE ~ WE ARE ALL RSPONSIBLE !
S OME PEOPLE find the Pollution of Soils
O R LAND so hard to understand for an
I NDIVIDUAL ! But Sea & Air are
L IKELY AREAS ~ Liquid & Gas ~ But
S OIL is different ~ WE DON'T POLLUTE OUR GROUND !
P OLLUTION of the Land ~ Sea & Air is
O NE CONTINUOUS CYCLE ! Chemicals
L EACH off Farmland and into our Rivers
L ANDFILL SITES pollute Rivers ~ emit Gases
U P IN THE AIR ~ Like METHANE one of
T HE GREENHOUSE GASES ~ Cars give SO2
I T'S THE CAUSE of Acid Rain ~ acidifies
O UR SOIL and destroys our Pine Forests ~ SO
N OBODY can say "I DON'T POLLUTE SOIL"

We are all conscious that we do contribute to the POLLUTION
of Rivers and the Ocean with our effluent and the Air with our
gaseous emissions ~ BUT ~ think we protect our land ! What
I have tried to explain is that POLLUTION CYCLES from the Land
to the SEA & AIR an from the AIR (Acid Rain) onto the Land. So
the Fertilisers & Pesticides we encourage our Farmers to use
the exhaust gases from our cars etc ~ the "rubbish" we throw
out every week all contributes to ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION !
Consequently we are all responsible and it's going to get worse
unless we all have a change of MIND & HEART ~ Love BRIAN XOX

Yes we are all in the blame area of pollution these days Brian - doing just the small bit we can to protect this planet is always worthwhile. A fine acrostic sonnet which shares all the many needs facing people who care.

Thanks for bringing awareness to this issue. We all need to work as hard as we can to be greener. We've got to preserve what we have. I've been to New York City and was appalled by smog. I had never seen it before. (How do they see the stars?) I hope we can all do what we can to better the planet, and soon. Hugs-Christina
