GOD ~ IS EVERYWHERE !
All Powerful ~ Knowing All
and GOD is SOVEREIGN !
All sounds a bit scary ~ So
I call Him ABBA = DADDY !
JESUS ~ Son of God
Crucified ~ forgave our sins
Rose again ~ He's our
Mediator in Heaven
He lives to Bless us each day !
The HOLY SPIRIT
He gives us Love ~ Joy ~ Peace ~ The
Fruit of the Spirit !
He indwells us ~ helps us to
Live as CHRISTIANS in the WORLD
HOLY TRINITY
One GOD ~ but as Three Persons
Each with a separate
Identity and Role ~ but
Alway seen working as ONE !

Many people have problems understanding Doctrine of The Trinity
Basically is quite simple. There is ONE GOD (we call the GODHEAD)
who operates as three distinct persons ~ each with their own role
but always in unison. God the Father maintains and controls the whole
Universe ~ God the Son ~ became Man over 2000 years ago and died
as an atonement for our sins and is now our Representative and our
Mediator in Heaven. God the Holy Spirit operates on Plant Earth and
dwells in all those who have been Born Again through Faith in Christ's
Atonement ! So when we pray we pray ~ in the Spirit ~ to God the
Father ~ through Jesus who is our Mediator. The BIBLE is the Word
of God ~ Those who wrote it were inspired by the Holy Spirit and the
Subject is the Son of God ~ Concealed in the Old Testament and revealed
in the New ! When we Worship in Church ~ we worship in the Spirit and
glorify GOD in the Name of Jesus ~ AMEN. The TRINITY was involved in
CREATION and when it came to the CREATION of MAN ~ The GODHEAD
said "Let US create MAN in our image and likeness" ~ AMEN. The BIBLE
teaches in the Old & New Testaments that We are created Spiritual Beings
"Just a little lower than the Angels" not as Evolution wrongly teaches "Just
a little higher than the Apes" ! Are you APE or ANGEL ? Comments welcome !

Simple, and yet profound too? Easy, and yet difficult too? Three-leaved clover; milk, sugar, and tea in a cup; etc? A fine write Brian.
I know some say no trinity, because the word itself is not in the Bible.
What the ATHEIST (God rest their souls !) often overlooks STEVE ~ is that the Christian understands complex Doctrine (such as he Trinity and Atonement etc) by a combination of Intellect & Faith which leaves us in no doubt ! All these issues about the Deity of Christ etc can (and have been) debated but that does not alter their validity. My Parents are Evangelicals and we were raised in an extended Family where they had a personal Faith that was rock solid and secure. It enables them to live and die trusting in God as their Creator Christ as their Saviour and the Holy Spirit as their indwelling Comforter (Paraclete) and Guide ! I read that when Billy Graham was questioned by David Frost about the certainty and validity of His Christian Faith ~ Billy replied ~ \"Since I accepted accepted Christ as my Personal Savior and was Born Again and filled with God\'s Holy Spirit I have never has any DOUBTS about the Deity of Christ ~ His Atoning Death for us on the Cross ~ His exalted position at God\'s Right Hand and the fact that one Day He will return to Earth to take us to Heaven to be ~ Forever in the presence of God Himself !\" Would that today Evangelists and Church Leaders had such assurance of their Faith ~ AMEN ~ Thanks for your comments ~ Your Friend ~ BRIAN
I'm not wishing to be flippant - but, erm, yes, if you say so Outback. I dunno - as I said; I blew a fuse in me brain-box trying to unravel your writings!
I taught my children about the persons of the Trinity by using an egg as an example, explaining the three distinct parts and jobs, but it is still as a whole, an egg. Enjoyed!
Thanks HEATHER ~ My parents also taught me about GOD and we always had Family Prayers. It was my MUM who explained when we pray we pray in the SPIRIT to GOD the FATHER in the name of JESUS ! I like the egg analogy SHELL ~ WHITE & YOLK one EGG but three essential parts ~ AMEN I will use that in my next CHILDREN's TALK ~ I'll have to remember to hard boil it first before I break it open !
