So sorry to hear they both fell - nice one Brian - will write a haiku later today - in fact 2 or 3. if I have time.

Thanks MICHAEL ~ You artists are all in love with sweet ML! I have revised it to a SENRYU as it a 5 7 5 Poem about PEOPLE ~ OK ~ BRIAN (Poetry sites are a minefield !)

            • Michael Edwards

Okay - I'll make mine about people too - actually as a piece of art I can think of many paintings I would rather have that the ML - I sometimes think she wears Emperors clothes.

An intriguing picture is La Gioconda as is this senryu.

Cute writing. I never been to Paris. Still want to go live there for a while.

Thanks MALU ~ I first went when I was 16 been many times since. Great CITY for so many reasons ! The longest i have stayed is THREE WEEKS ! Friends who have lived there for a YEAR or more tell me that after a year you really begin to feel a PARISIAN ! Hope you get to go sometime. My FRENCH is petty good ~ which is a help ~ lots of French words are similar to Spanish & Portuguese & Italian as they are all derived from Latin ! As far as English is concerned all the short words are different from French and all the long words are similar ! With GERMAN & ENGLISH it's the other way round as both are derived from Anglo-Saxon ~ OK. Hugs ~ BRIAN
