Tune: Newington
(one tune to 'Thine for ever, God of love')
********
Copious shower, sun's spell
You do weather our souls well
Tend to drought, desert dryness
You do refresh us, us bless
Soul, draw near, and here commune
With your Lord, with Him in tune
With His Spirit abiding
Ever in you residing
You Lord are the husbandman
Working as only you can
In our soul's garden to bring
All to your glory, each thing
Fragrant flowers, colourful
Green trees, bushes, strong and tall
Fruitful plants, they shall us nourish
You the land do bless, cherish
So taking our part, may we
Produce good fruit, you it see
Patient endure pruning's time
Then bear more fresh fruit sublime

And here was me expecting you to name a few of the flowers in your garden - fine piece nevertheless O.
Thanks M. Aww I could have done, but I'm no gardener meself. Well, I know it includes marigolds, sunflowers, poppies, and a bit of rhubarb in the corner! lol
A fine array of reasons for daily praise - so many blessings in your garden of glories my friend.
Thanks Fay.
Good praiseworthy write.

Thanks Brian. I dunno what I'm doing. I water the weeds too, until someone says 'Nope, not them; they're weeds'! lol.
Beauty! The fruit of the Lord, both natural and spiritual.
Thanks Heather.
Now I think I know why you call yourself orchidee! No wonder with such a garden! Well penned!
Thanks Fred. Erm, I didn't plant hardly any of them myself though!
