PEACE & JUSTICE ~ SONNET FOR SUNDAY

BRIAN & ANGELA

O GOD ~ Bring Peace to the Earth

Grant justice to all the Oppressed

Save the children of those in need

And bring down the Oppressor !

May you be like Rain that waters

The Land ~ and provides for all People

May the Righteous ~ blossom like the Trees

May there be Peace throughout your Land !

The needy who cry out for our help ~ Their

GOD will rescue and protect all of them

He will have pity on all the Homeless

And will set their feet on solid ground !

Let us praise GOD and His Name forever

Let us fill the whole Earth with GOD'S  GLORY

GRACIAS AMIGO ~ If the World Leaders and the Nations followed the teachings of the BIBLE (La Parabla de Dios) it would be a much happier place. Planet Earth could easily sustain a Human population of 15 billion (twice that in 2017) but because of Man\'s greed and inhumanity Millions are starving today aNd do not have clean water ! Thanks for caring BRIAN ~ AMIGO TUO

A fine write B. The Psalm was originally a prayer for King Solomon, I think! I would do a 'full face avi' too, but the camera lens keep cracking! hmmm. lol.

A fine sentiment well expressed, my friend, but if all this came to pass, what would have been the point of leaving heaven to begin with? Wouldn't what you describe be heaven on earth? Just can't help wondering about such things, forgive me.
