Jupiter Farms

malubotelho

I sing with the birds
With the flowers I dance
If the wind blows us
On the back of the horse we land
No need to jump the fence

I don't eat flies with the frogs
It is enough to kiss they lips
The lizards are close friends
When together we walk
We happily share gossips.

The snakes are funny buddies
They mood are somewhat rare
One day happy, the next day sad
Climb on trees, they can see you
You don't see them, that is not fair.

Once I tried to chat
underground with the fire ants
They all came fast and fury
Red horns, they gave no chance
Stung my legs, as I run
I ended loosing my pants.

Life here can be quite a challenge
Described is a funny tale
Birds, lizards, frogs, people
We live from the same well
All affair we can manage, because this is the life
Of a Jupiter Farms girl.

Great fun poem Jupiter Farm girl! The picture of the Bougainvillia reminds me that I have to cut mine back, it is getting humongous! But the thorns are such a pain!
