Cheers Brian - ah yes Hayley - I knew her well - in the turnip shed!!
A fine write and pic M. But would we want a roll in THAT pongy hay?! lol.
Better than the turnip shed O - I can assure you of that !!
Cccoooeeee one-minute into the day UK poet!
Trouble is you can only click on to 'publish' at one second past the hour and by the time you've copied the poem, and given it a title and pushed the publish button 2 minutes is as about as quick as it can get. I publish first and add the picture straight away after to save a bit of time - is that cheating?
Nope, not cheating! Erm, could you start 5 or 10 minutes the previous 'day''? But then it may say you've had your poem for the day, come back later! No worries, as I shan't be there at 4am or whatever the UK time is to be the first poet. What is the exact UK time that you post your poems? Oooh but 23 minutes is nearly half the day gone! lol.
To be the first poet the UK time is 6am you need to post. When I click on to publish at 6am I already have copied the poem from my documents ready to plonk it into the box. Oh what a sad sad life I lead !!
Wonderful Lanterne, Michael. Grew up in a small farm village, and this brings back lots of memories! And this time the lantern shape looks great!
Thanks Fred - I was raised on a small holding with goats, geese, chickens etc and the smell of hay is something special to me as well.
I'm smelling it.
Lovely isn't it?
Your poem and illustration tintillate the senses...Well done!
