I know it is nature’s way,
Each generation changes,
Each generation gets taller.
To me this was not a problem,
Being quite tall.
But now when I walk in the town,
The two generations below me,
Are now above me.

Not as tall as you Andy - I was 6ft but I've lost a bit in older age and I'm still above all my grandchildren - but there's time yet. I do like this little bit of penmanship Andy - it grows on me LoL - a good write.
Thanks Robert. My son is 3 inches taller than I but I am taller than the grandchildren at the moment but they are catching me up very quickly.
A fine write G/F. This sherry's stunting my growth! heehee.
It would and the Pork Pies are weghing you down. Thanks Orchi.
Well I can attest to that... They're tall, but are they wise as you are? Great write buddy!
Wisdom comes with age, hopefully. Thank you from.
Tall Men have lots of advantages ! I'm just over 6ft but a lot of Younger males in our Church are 6'3" and taller ! In education we paradoxically SHORTLIST the Applicants and the appoint the Tallest because they have more authority in the classroom ! BRIAN
Thanks for your comments Brian.
Lol
Great writing and interesting subject, Goldfinch. Both my sons are taller than I am, and I used to tell them: You might be longer, but I am bigger!
Yes I am bigger than my taller son. Thank Fred.
You guys are tall as I can see. I'm only 5.3 but one of my sons is 6.4 as the other is 6 how did I do that I don't know. The tall one was made in Australia and the other one in Brazil. It must be the water. Very cute writing. I like the shared information.
Thanks m. It is not just the boys, I went down town the other day and it seemed to be invaded by six foot plus ladies!
I guess soon ladder will be out of market. 🙂
Steps are easier to use, you do not need to lean them against anything.
A sign of ageing, yes my friend. Do you remember when you first noticed how young the policemen were these days? Nice work again. pleasure to read.
Oh yes I remember, and still see those children wearing police uniforms. Thank b-e.
