I'M A CARIBBEAN PIRATE ~ ENJOY !

BRIAN & ANGELA

I'M A CARIBBEAN PIRATE

See me red bandana

At all tings I'm good

I'm a Caribbean Pirate

I got rithum ~ I got rithum

In me Blood !

Se me dance de Salsa

Man jus' beat de Drum

Serve me Pina Collada

An' pour in EXTRA RUM !

I'M A CARIBBEAN PIRATE

I can do de Limbo

Please lower de bar

I'm a Caribbean Pirate

I can sing Calypso

In de Bath an' in de Shower

I love dressin' fancy

I'm a high class Mister

If yuh think I'm braggin'

Keep yuh eyes on yuh Sister

I'M A CARIBBEAN PIRATE

Where yuh tink

I got de rithum ?

I'm a Caribbean Pirate

An' my mates all

Have a Steel Band withum !

How about de Cricket

On dat subject sound me

Jus' put de willow in me hand

I'll wack ball to de Boundary !

Thanks for reading ~ comments welcome ~ Caribbean love ~ BRIAN

Nice Job! It was not only poetic, but enjoyable as well.

                    • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks LIZZY ~ you are obviously a Dancer by your AVI and the Caribbean is a 24/7 DANCE ! There are two factors which make a good poem: STRUCTURE (rhyme ~ rhythm ~ versification etc) and SUBJECT (the contents of the Poem the story it tells etc) if these two are in HARMONY ~ THEN it is a good poem ! Pleased you liked both ~ my Subject (enjoyable) & Structure (poetic) ! Thanks for your encouragement ~ Yours BRIAN (UK)
