BRIAN & ANGELA

 

 

Ah remember well me MAMMY

Prayin' foh me every Mornin'

GOD bless mah BABBY ~ an'make him

A fine MAN ~ grant him  a fine WIFE

Plump Bosoms ~ fine chile bearin' hips

An' grant me many GRANDCHILLIN ! 

 

Remembr she ~ squeezin' fresh orange

Ev'ry mornin' into a jug

Bruisin' oil from der skin ~ for zest

I only have to tink ~ my mouth

Fills wid de savour of MAMMY'S

Orange ~ gumbo ~ ham rice an' peas

 

Me MAMMY ~ now in PARADISE

But still prayin' for me ev'ry day
