The BUYER and the SELLER take the risks ~ you simply broker ~ make sure everything is legal and amicable and take your cut ~ EASY ! In the CHURCH the BISHOPS negotiate between the hard working Parsons & Preachers and GOD ! In the UK Bishops always live in Mansions and have a Seat in the HOUSE of LORDS ~ AMEN In UK Further & Higher Education ~ the Heads of Department and Professors ar the Middle Men in Middle Management. Thy don't have to teach much and manage those that do. The Higher Management (Principals & Vice=Principals ) take the risks and absorb the angst ! Comments welcome ~ Love to ALL ~ BRIAN XOX

Ah - You have nailed the role so well Brian - - Middleman - or Woman seeks no chance to show individuality. Great read.
That is true FAY ! My Folks have bought and sold a few Houses (a minefield) and hav always used a "Christian" Solicitor ! The do tend to be rather sombre faceless men ~ but they have had no hitches and their services (Minutiae Middlemen) have not been excessive ~ the same is true of "Trustworthy Second Hand Car Salesmen" (is that an oxymoron ?). The job I am aiming for is Head of Department in Further / Higher Education ~ OK. Thanks for your comment ~ Yours BRIAN.

A fine write Brian. Middleman 'Sherry Steve' here! Just as long as Vicars don't think THEY are God (well, almost!). It's difficult if some do. They misrepresent Him. I knew one: he's 'better now' . He was generally known by smugness, and delusions that HE owned the church. doh!
Well STEVE ~ I mentioned VICARS because some of them get too big and even fill their "surplusssssssses" ! That's why we need BISHOPS ~ to keep their feet on the GROUND ~ even if their HEADS are (of necessity ?) in the clouds Which would explain why their sermons are often so WOOLEY ~ Yours BRIAN

Oh! I know a few. Try to avoid but it is almost impossible. We are all middle man eventually. In my case middle woman. I get the job and distribute it. Get paid and distribute the money. We all need to survive in this beautiful world. Nice reading Brian.
Thanks for a very reasoned comment MALU. Heads of Department in Colleges and Professors in Universities and Bishops are all nice Men and Women ~ but they are all Middlemen. I suppose the worst are LAWYERS who seem to want their cut of everything ! I find Christian Lawyers OK. Brotherly Hugs ~ BRIAN
Good write Brian but many middlemen are purveyors of untruths and are like politicians only in it to see what they can get out of it.
