I SEE THE PYRAMIDS ! A Simple Form Poem

BRIAN & ANGELA

PYRAMIDS AT GIZA ~ BEDOUINS WITH CAMELS

see

Pyramids

along ~ the Nile

Camels make me smile

thinking of you ~ all the while

You belong to me ~ You belong to me

Snuggled by by me in my tent where our so

blissful nights are spent ! Never mind the crocodile

enjoy the Pyramids employ the Pyamids ~ along the NILE !

Thanks for visiting ~ comments welcome ~ Love BRIAN XOX

The Centered Pyramid is the simplest form of Form Poem

the only difficulty is getting the overlap in each successive

line the same. Poets must have an extensive vocabulary !

Also a simple Pyramidal Poem ~ must be about PYRAMIDS

  • Comment from author about the poem: My Grandma told me that in the 1950's there was a lovely Love Song called "See the Pyramids along the NILE" ! They don't write them like that this Century ! The Pyramids @ Giza were built to last for ever ~ like Stonehenge (UK) ~ so whenever you visit ~ they will still be there ! Sun kissed love to ALL ~ BRIAN XOX

We - a couple of us - are getting obsessed with syllables! But they're needed!

Thanks HONEY ~ For me POETRY is always a challenge ~ always experiential ~ and like all Men of my age (33) always striving for perfection and never quite achieving it ! Poetic Hugs ~ BRIAN

Like the feeling on your writing. Another place I get to visit. I visit it with a mantra non meditation. Well, I've tried but never succeeded yet.

                      • BRIAN & ANGELA

OBRIGADO ~ MALU ~ All these exotic places (Paris ~ Table Mountain (SA) ~ Taj Mahal (India) and Egypt are closer to the UK than the USA therefor more accessible ! However with the development of \\\"Interactive TV\\\" you will be able to touch and climb the Pyramids ~ ride (and scent) a Camel and cuddle a Baby one, Scheduled for 2020 or Earlier on Mainstream TV. Pleased you got the Pyramidal feeling of GIZA its awesome. Fortunately my Parents were rich enough to take me to many of these places as a Teen. Now I take them to exotic Places ~ Quid pro Quo ! Brotherly Hugs ~ BRIAN

THANKS CHRISTINA (love the elegance of you full name !) Thanks for your supportive comment. I did mention to MALU that exotic places ~ like EGYPT are much closer to the UK than the USA therefor cheaper ~ if you can afford to go ! Hope your dreams come true but maybe with reality TV by 2020 "The Pyramids along the Nile" will come to you ! PYRAMIDAL HUGS ~ BRIAN

I like your pyramid poem Brian. I will have to experiment with this and other shape poems- easier with pen and paper though than electronically fir some shapes! Have visited the Pyramids at Giza 😊

                          • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks SUE ~ great that you have seen the PYRAMIDS @ GIZA ~ great experience ~ and the SPHINX also ! Yes indeed ~ shape poems are harder to write electronically ~ for DIAMOND & HOUR CLASSES etc I get the top half correct ~ geometrywise and then repeat it backwards for the bottom half. This poses an additional problem ~ the reverse half has to make sense linguistically ~ I'm beginning to sound like a Teacher ! Yours BRIAN. Please check my Office Poem ~ Thanks B.

Thanks TBT ~ All poems have "SHAPE & FORM" but we can always add another dimension ! Of course the Poem must complement the SHAPE ! Please check my OFFICE Poem and also my FUSION on GAMES & PASTIMES ~ click on DEVELOPING to see the new Fusions ~ OK. Yours BRAIN

Another shape done. I bet this Pyramid poem will last longer than the Pyramid itself.
                              Excellent.
