People liked the idea or not
We gave it our best shot
We were so young and naive
But together we did believe
in our new found feeling
I just remember reeling..
From your cologne and your charm
And knowing you'd never do me harm
Dancing against your chiseled body
And I knew you felt the same about me
Me in my tight pencil skirt
You were such a flirt!
But one thing I always knew
My soulmate was undeniably you!

A lovely write. we had a bit of opposition from unlikely places (my wife coming from Burma) but we have been together since the start of time and every day together is a blessing. So as you can guess this poem really resonates with me.
