Thanks CHRIS ~ She will ~ just as there is a TEXAN Spirit there is a FLORIDIAN One as well and of course (Praise God) a CUBAN SPIRIT (Espirito de Cuba) also. The latter two places depend heavily on Tourism ~ so they have started to rebuild already ! Thanks for Your concern & prayers for all at this difficult time. Thanks M & M ~ For many BRITS Florida is the only US State they have visited. Friends of mine own houses (near Orlando) which they rent out. Naturally BRITS who have developed an affection for Florida are very upset ~ just as I am ~ Yours BRIAN.

THNKS FAY ~ I find the whole situation so sad for FLORIDA ~ CUBA ~ TEXAS and the CARBBEAN ! For many Brits FLORIDA is the only US State they have visited and they are very SAD (and their Kids) because of the Happy Times ~ they have enjoyed at Disney World etc. Thanks for your comment and concern ~ Yours as ever BRIAN.
Thank you Brian for this beautiful acrostic. I live in Kissimmee, FL. My little home wasn't affected by the storm. We went through the storm unscathed.
HOLA AMIGO ~ YES ~ Love KISSIMMEE and I stayed with BRITS who have Property there. I generally stay with friends near TAMPA and they had to evacuate ! I figured that KISSIMMEE and ORLANDO would be too far inland to be affected.
The houses on the Coast N of Tampa are built on 10 foot stilts and park their cars underneath. I do research on Coastal Erosion in the UK and lots of houses have already fallen into the Sea !
For many BRITS FLORIDA is the only US State they have visited !
In my experience every State is very different in Accent ~ Cuisine ~ Attitude ~ Ethnic mix ~ Scenary ~ Sport etc etc and you must remember that TEXAS is four times bigger than the whole of the UK ! The USA is 40 times bigger than the UK so most States are smaller than the UK !
Each American has eight times as much space as a Brit and that is what we notice so much ~ SPACE ! Gracias por Tu comentario ! Your BRIAN ~ Aficionado de Florida

GRACIAS AMIGO ~ One day I will have stayed in all 50 States ! I visted HAWAII on my way home from NEW ZEALAND ~ Hawaii and the Hawaiians are awesome ! I have also visited ALASKA ~ Cruise up the Inside Passage. Both (as you know) became States in 1959 and are on two Different Planets EX PLURIBUS UNAM ! Yours BRIAN
