Passion

malubotelho

                                             The essence of the night

Falling softly, impregnating and blinding the stars

A light is left on at the balcony

A light that invades a burning heart

A light glowing the fire of passion.

Soon a silhouette bathed on moonlight,

                                                                    whidding, fall on the dawn

                                                                    shirking, suspicious eyes

It is the search to comply with desire

The hallucinating dream that uses obscured hours

Its the song of clandestine love.

                                           Inhaling the sinful perfume

the silky profane body of another man's wife.

The essence of the night, mixes with the moonlight

                                           creating rare material

to anoint the dreams of a forbidden love.

Forbidden by the men of moral

those that expects a mortal silence from the night.

Thanks MALU ~ O Yes I remember it well ~ But the choice to yield to temptation ~ is mine & mine alone ! Thanks SISTER for reminding me ! Big Hugs in the Spirit ~ Brother BRIAN

Brother Brian, no judges here. The forbidden fruit is very tempting. The after tasting can be bitter though. Haha 😂

Wimmin see.... u just cant trust the buggers..... ha ha ha
      oooh shocking stuff....

is this a case of ...'what happens in the night, stays in the night' ??

      • malubotelho

I agree with you. The night is longer if you are feeling hungry. The next day can be bright or ugly depends on your way of thinking. The temptation sometimes takes over your mind.

          "Inhaling the sinful perfume "
"the dreams of a forbidden love"
Who could resist the temptation of love? Leave the moral to fight with the immoral.
          A rare piece.

          • malubotelho

I agree with you. Live the moral for the moralist. Take the chance and live the love.

Passion knows no borders, no restrictions, no rules.
            Beautifully written, Malu!

            • malubotelho

Thank you Fred. Who never fell in love with someone not really so suitable. It happens.

It sure does, but then one has to weigh these feelings against reality, against the sure loss and questionable gain. Unfortunately, sometimes the feelings overpower rational thought.

Passions of youth are replaced by passions of old age...where we just want to play with our grandchildren and sip sweet tea on the porch. I think my greatest "passion" is for the written word. But personally I've always thought having my own slice of cake was better than looking through the window at someone else's candy. 🙂

You are a smart guy. Thanks for coming visit me. Things happen because people have no control about themselves. Passion makes people blind. Man with little or without honor think that if no one sees it, it did not happened. I admire a man that love and honor his wife and don't fall for others but it happens many times.

The forbidden heat burns the hottest. Nicely expressed.
