Love for love

malubotelho

As I was learning how to love, I was loving.
I've walked to the altar of love many times and I've married all the men that despised me. I've embraced them one by one and forgave them.
I've told them they were all my sons and I was not hurt.
I've climbed mountains to plant flowers thus they could exhale fragrant smell to the distant world.
I've told my heart to be blind of judging eyes.
I've never seem any perfect soul but I've been perfecting my thoughts to open my mind for twisted thoughts so I can get a glimpse of the world that I don't think I should regret.

Perfecting thoughts for love to grow is such an inspiring part of this poem Malu - -- learning how to love is a most noble wish - a truly beautiful read.

Thanks Fay. Having you visit me is a pleasure. And yes, before we learn how to love we stumble and fall many times and eventually we never really learn.

Great poem, Malu! Only after we empty our hearts and minds, get rid of all preconceived notions, can we truly love and truly see the other person for who she/he is.

      • malubotelho

Yes Fred. Many of us never really open up to truly love or to give ourselves to somebody. For too many love is to great to bear.

Ah Malubotelho you are indeed a beautiful soul and looks to me you are on paath to nirvana.
I am currently studying the teachings of the buddha and your words could so easily have been from a text therein.
There is so much beauty we have forgotten to see.

Oh my dear friend. I'm just a soul sufferer on valley of tear like all others. I've decided to love just to love because I don't see other way but I'm as imperfect as anybody. I hope they have a poethaeven waiting for all of us. I believe that we all go to heaven but of course after being cleaned up from all our impurities. We are all children of God.

Malu , your journey to self discovery has I believe made you a wonderful poet may we all keep learning

            • malubotelho

Thanks WL. We all have a lot to learn. Each of us are learning somehow. Each one in a different level of consciousness.

Each and every love is different, love as you could, loved as you may, collect the love and live in the love.
Beautiful view fit your beautiful writing.

                • malubotelho

Yes, you are right. Each different way of love is valuable. At the end it is all love. Thanks for coming to visit me.

Love is a rocky road with twists and turns and dead ends too. But learning to love is a class in the school of life that we all must learn from. You're on the right path. Follow that path with an open heart. ; )

                  • malubotelho

Thanks my dear AP. I'm following my heart. I'm now training. Myself to see the ugly part of me. To go flash my flashlight on the obscure side that I sometimes almost deny or am afraid of look at. It is going to be hard though.

                    • Accidental Poet

There's an ugly side of you? Not from where I sit. ; )

                      • malubotelho

Oh yes! We all have. We all were born with the two sides. We can use more one or other and I almost use my light because as I know the dark side connects you with negative energy and there is a painful consequence in using it. I think we have enough pain in this world and don't want to create more. Thanks always for your lovely interactions.
