You see what you see
From where you sit
But look from another angle
And see a different side of it
The same can be said
Of most any subject
Be it news hot off the press
Or any simple object
Look at it one way
A precarious view
Then move to either side
Suddenly something new
Your opinion on anything
You’re rightly entitled to
And think you’ll never budge from
Then stand in someone else’s shoes
But seen from all sides
You’ll know more than you knew
Just depends on your viewpoint
And a re-educated you

Genius AP, and so true! Just like we need surround sound to hear good music, we need surround view to get the point.
Thanks Fred, nice way of looking at it (no pun intended) ; )
Such good advice wrapped in poetic verse - -thanks for sharing it A.P,
Thanks for reading and commenting Fay. ; )
I think this is a really good poem. We need to "walk a mile in someone else's shoes" to see the full picture. I agree with Fred as well. Very nice write!
Did ya walk back that mile, to give them their shoes back? Or did they follow for a mile barefoot, and then you gave them their shoes back?! I wish I would shut up sometimes! heehee.
Thanks Christina, yes like the old song by Joe South of "Walk a Mile in My Shoes". ; )
Yes, I saw this poem from different viewpoints! It looked good from any angle 🙂
Thanks orchidee. ; )
Very true, things should be examined from all angles.
Thanks for reading Goldfinch. Another one of my writes that just bopped my off the head. ; )
Good philosophy AP always take another look at life with someone else's eyes or walk around in there shoes for a bit ...well done
Thanks WL. everyone's got a viewpoint. ; )
We all should sit on another place sometimes, to change our perspective view so we could see things different. What we see is not what others sees, many times. Nice subject AP.
Thanks for reading and commenting malu. ; )
