TULIPS FROM AMSTERDAM !
ROSES are a lovely Flower
From bud to fully blown
Symbol of ENGLAND's fading power
Yet still the RED ROSE proudly shown !
ROSES RED for Love & Passion
For LOVERS never out of Fashion !
TULIPS can be any color
Special flower ~ unlike another
In Flower Galas ~ special place
For TULIPS with a Lady's grace
GOD's perfection stem to bloom
Send me a Bouquet and I'll swoon !
SNOWDROPS peeking through the snow
Tell me Winter soon will go !
No flowers seen since late November
SNOWDROP explosion I remember
A sign to me from Heaven above
SPRING SEASON of our Blossoming love !
LILAC is my favorite flower ~ intense
It has the most alluring scent
I long for MAY to come around
When sight & scent of LILAC can be found
Indoors in a special vase are some
A fragrant memory of my MOM !

Very lovely as always brother Brian. I'm taking great care of a little tree that has dark foliage and has Gorgeus red clustered flowers. It is called black diamond rose. It is beautiful indeed. My competition is the little spiders that leaves a disease on the plant. Thanks for this beautiful poem.

THANKS AVI ~ Collaborations are fun because they are ONE on ONE but the WHOLE POEM is always greater than just the SUM of the STANZAS ~ When I Collaborate we (in this case Christina & I) agree the TITLE ~ number of STANZA ~ and POETIC STYLE (length of stanza and rhyme pattern etc) We then agree Subject and Order. We then share drafts ~ edit and agree final POEM and then post on MPS. CHRISTINA and I are 3800 miles apart so we do all this electronically !
