Some good writes but I would disagree with 'amicable divorce' I am divorced from my first wife 38 years ago but still we talk to each other and in fact she and her husband and Joyce and myself have got together many times over the years without any acrimony, we both remarried in the same year, 1981.
Thanks ANDY ~ It is always the exceptions that disprove the rule ! Perhaps amicable access to the Children & Grandchildren removes some of the acrimony one so often sees. On has to appreciate that at their best OXYMORONS are only generalisations and therefor only absurd in some (but not all) cases.. The same is true of Platonic Relationships ~ it can and does work ! Some of these make me laugh terribly hard. (And since I'm in English class I probably shouldn't(don't worry I'm done with my work)) The others are kind of sad, but they are truths people need to learn. I enjoyed this greatly.
However, there is such thing as a break up at least that ends up with still being friends, my parents an example, which I am so thankful for.

I've never been married yet but in my extended Family some divorced Couples stay very close mainly for the sake of the Children and both sets of Grandparents have full access ! Great fun write baby Brian. Like you said we always want to make harmless things not so ok to do. I had an amicable divorce that my ex never signed. We are good friends now. He keeps calling me everyday.
