A bird told me 🐦

malubotelho

Was a bird crying outside. I went to listen, tried to his words decipher he flew away with his secrets, to long safe lands, far away from my reach.

The next day he was singing, from the top of my roof
I went out and sang with him, he felt safe,
Went down and ate from my hand.

Now when he sees me, down he comes, we eat and sing together,
I can only think
He is happy to be my friend.

He told me now, that he cries and sings for his lady
She is so skittish, he said
She always flies, far away to a new land.

Good write, I feed the birds and occasionally they eat from my hand, but more often than not we converse though our eyes as we stand each side of the bird table, trust is always there.

Yes, if they trust you they come closer. They are very sweet to see. I've seem incredible things from the birds. I must write more about them.

Thanks Christina. I've been very busy with my job so I'm late on reading my friends poems. This one here I wrote sometime ago.

I relate to your poem and to birds good write Malu love the picture

          • malubotelho

Thanks WL. Birds have the power to make us feel that sweet feeling related to them. I truly believe they are Gods send for us to enjoy. And the fact the they can fly makes them so interesting.

A very nice and tender poem, Malu! Not far from my house there is this HUGE tree and every evening there seems to be a bird convention going on with each bird seeming to sing at the same time. I guess it is a bit like us humans, everybody talks and nobody listens!
I recently took a picture of birds and after reading your poem think that maybe I should write something for that picture! Thanks!

Yes Fred. I want to read about it. I love the birds specially in the morning and late afternoo when they fly on top of the roof. They go to the far high and sing beautifully. I stop anything I'm doing to listen to them. So cute and clear. Thanks for liking this and I'm waiting to read your poem about the birds picture.

Thanks Michael. We are very luck to live in such beautiful places. Being connected with nature is very good to release stress and live a healthier life. I always say that should be prohibited to be sad here because we live in paradise.

We seek comfort in closeness and harmony with a friendly soul when our hearts are tormented.
