CHRISTINA'S FURRY CAT & GREY PARROT ~ VERY CUTE !
I have a furry friend ~ he's a PUSSY CAT
You would not believe it ~ he's so bloomin' fat
Like GARFIELD ~ he has orange fur
And he can stand the cold Brrr Brrr
He is an outdoor CAT ~ like most that I know
Everybody feed him so he grow & grow & grow !
My MUM bought me two RABBITS ~ BEE & BO
Their mating fascinated me ~ come and go !
MUM explained BO was a BUCK and BEE a DOE
My Biology Lessons ~ BEE & BO complete
Ten little BUNNIES born ~ all cute and sweet
We supplied all the kids ~ livin' in our street !
My MOM bought me a cute GREY BIRD
My BIRD can tweet a few sweet words
A skwarky greeting from my PARROT
Freaks my CAT ~ and really scare it !
I've taught my PARROT ~ not to bite
Now he flies round my Room at Night !
I live in a Flat ~ So I can't have a CAT
Or a DOG or a HOG or even a FROG
But I've got my wish ~ with TROPICAL FISH
I have a cute gang ~ of Blue & Yellow TANG !
I sit and watch them with my Girlfriend NELLY
Much better than most ~ programs on the TELLY

Writing a FACTUAL COLLABORATION POEM with a Friend
is not too difficult ! The TOPIC of PETS Christina & I have
chosen today is a good example. We both chose two very
different PETS. In this case a CAT & a BIRD and RABBITS
& TROPICAL FISH. The only constraint that we imposed
on ourselves (for the sake of presentation !) was that each
verse should be a sextet with arbitrary "rhyme pattern" !
The result is always better than the "sum of the parts !"
Topics can be anything ~ Trees ~ Capital cities etc. Why
not find a Friend and COLLABORATE ! Love CHRIS & BRIAN.

Delightful write from you two! Very apt too. Did you know it's National Animal Day on 4th Oct? We've had cats, mice, hamsters, fish, just about everything over the years. And 4 piggies at present - two of them look like the ones in my pic.
