My Mountain

Christina8

In my life I have been a child, a mother,

a wife, a model and a nurse.

Been rife with heartache and pain

and days I thought I was cursed

As the time has passed on in my

life I have found healing

I've found new friends along the

way which have made life more appealing

I don't have to look back at the

days gone by if I don't want to

I can focus on my life now and raising

my kids because that's what I need to do

Overcoming doubt and regret is still

something I am working to abolish

Like starting with a mountain of agony

it's gonna take real strength to demolish

I was thinking of this giant mountain of all these feelings that I wanted to demolish. I don't know why, but I do. And I'm gonna start at the top and work my way through the pain and ugliness. Thats just my thoughts! Thanks for the read. I don't disagree with what you say. Your way sounds good too!

I loved the metaphor. Very well done Christina. Sometimes it most definitely feels like a mountain of agony. Thank you for sharing.

Very good write. That mountain is there but each step along the way of life turns that mountain into lifes experience, experience can teach you the beauty of the life behind you and the ease of the life in front of you.
