I have a haunted past

One that will not last

I gift myself the chance to be free;

Just recently let the pain out

Let everyone know what it was about

And told them about the chains binding me;

There's something so freeing

And lately I've been seeing

That letting go of the hurt was so right to do;

The pain that haunts me has been evicted

And the sick images that were depicted

Now I can live my life whole with you.
