One of Those Days.

Goldfinch60

They don’t happen very often,

But I am having had one of those days.

My hands are normally secure,

And I can catch most things.

Today is different,

Almost anything I picked up

I dropped on the floor.

The myriad of tablets

That I sort in order

For my loved one

Seemed to have a life of their own

As so many just jumped out of my hand,

Onto the floor,

Under the cooker,

Under the ‘fridge,

I found them all,

And then dropped some again!

I went round with the vacuum cleaner,

And even that ended up on the deck

When I dropped the handle,

How can you drop a vacuum cleaner!!

Even as I write these words

One of them

-

   -

      -

         -

            -

               -

                  -

                        Fell

                  -

               -

            -

         -

      -

   -

-

To the ground.

The best Idea I can think of for today

Is to go back to bed,

But knowing my luck

I would probably fall out of that as well.

Oh lol. Good write Gold. Some people can't get out of the bed 'the other side' if one side is against a wall!

Well looking outside at the leaves on the grass I can definitely confirm that it is Fall Andy - sorry thought I'd drop that one in. And, yes, I know the feeling - great write.

Thanks Michael, I think we all have those type of days where we wish we had stayed in bed.

As for Autumn, I will need to get out the garden vacuum cleaner before long.

Love LAURAL & HARDY ~ they managed to make the simplest of things complex ~ even washing dishes ! Sorry about your day ~ I can send you details of a good Care Home ~ only £1000 a week ! Yours as ever BRIAN

        Cheeky what-name.

Laurel and Hardy are so good all they do in much of their work is exaggerate the normal - very clever.
