SPACESHIP MOON ~ A 4 5 3 2 Sonnet

BRIAN & ANGELA

SPACESHIP  MOON ~ ORBITING PLANET EARTH ~ AWESOME !

THERE are many people ~ including Scientists

Who believe Our Moon ~ not a natural Planet

They believe that it is an ALIEN SPACE CRAFT

A hollow rocky sphere with an inner metal frame !

It was designed after the formation of the Earth

By ALIENS who wished to leave their Home Planet

To orbit Planet Earth ~ They live in hollow Moon

Where conditions to support their needs for LIVING

Are maintained ~ They visit EARTH with UFOs !

There is evidence ! Moon density less than Earth

Much increased UFO activity on the

MOON during all of the APOLLO Moon Landings !

We know that UFOs do exist ~ this is one

Explanation of PLACE where they COME & GO from !

Thanks for visiting ~ Comments welcome ~ Lunar Love BRIAN

This poem is presented as a blank verse (iambic hexameter

12 syllables per line) 4 5 3 2 Sonnet ~ OK !

Brian, I do hope that this is just a fun poem and not what you believe in!
Well written, but a hollow moon would not influence earth's tides!!!

    • BRIAN & ANGELA

THANKS FRED ~ It is a theory proposed by Two Russian Scientists in the 1960's ~ It is the mass which influences the gravitational pull of the Moon on the tides ~ but it would be less if it was hollow ! The Bible says "God created the Moon to be a light at night etc." for me that explains why it is so unique etc. ~ BRIAN

I've heard of this conspiracy theory before and while interesting, the only part I believe is that UFO sightings increased after the Apollo missions. Interesting! Always interesting to see where your muse will take you next! Sisterly hugs-Christina

Thanks CHRIS ~ pleased it stirred your memory ! Science & SF always stirs my MUSE ! Luna Hugs ~ BRIAN Man in the Moon ! @@@@@@@

        Buongiorno
        Caro Amico Brian!
        I do believe there are
        other beings out there!
It would be too selfish and
presumptuous of us to think that we are the only beings in existence!
        Very informative!
        Thank you! Saluti e abbracci...
        ~Laura~

        • BRIAN & ANGELA

GRAZIE LAURA ~ There is much we don't know ! Like you I believe that God is our Creator ~ but he could have created other intelligent beings on other Planets which would explain UFO's etc Molti Abracci per Tu ~ BRIAN Uomo della Luna

        • A.C Doomcraft

          Very interesting
The moon apparently rang like a bell when the apollo craft landed
There's so many theories and points to show our moon may not be a natural satellite this illustrates the concept very well

          • BRIAN & ANGELA

YES INDEED ADC ~ It rang for quite a while ~ one of several indications that it might be hollow ! The hypothesis gathers momentum ~ BRIAN

I love flying - actually I'm a Gloucester Old Spot in disguise and now the secrets out. I can confirm that the soft cheese rumours are not true and it's not edam either - there's holes in that theory!! Now there's got to a whimsical poem about cheeses in there somewhere. er by the way - nice one Brian.

            • orchidee

It\'s you and me in that spacecraft M. I\'m an alien - half-human and half-guinea pig. What are you?! Are you Mr Spoon from that children's programme 'Button Moon'?

              • Michael Edwards

I'm an alien too - half human, half pork sandwich - not sure which half is which but I've just been told to my face to get stuffed so I guess it's the bottom half which is human.

                • orchidee

I shall have to eat half of you - pork sandwich and pork pies! Yummy! So your top half (and brain) is pork?!

                  • Michael Edwards

Watch you teeth on the crackling Orchi.

                    • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks MICHAEL ~ CHEESE & the MOON always stir MUSES ~ we could start a movement ~ BRIAN !

                    • myself and me

Take me back to high school life. UFO and aliens. Interesting to read and interesting format.

Thanks M & M ~ pleased it stirred your memory ! BUZZ ALDRIN is my hero (1969) I missed it by 14 years but my Dad says he got up at 3am to watch it ! Pleased you liked both the Structure & Subject of the Poem ~ BRIAN

                      • orchidee

A good write Brian. I think the idea I bunkum! lol. But of course, the moon is made of cheese! heehee.
The thing about UFO programmes on telly is we don't see much, if any, proof, and the programmes become very boring to me. lol.

                        • BRIAN & ANGELA

THANKS STEVE ~ The last time I saw a flying saucer was at a Greek Wedding Reception ! After the coffee we smashed all the "flying saucers" on the Patio ! Yours BRIAN

                        • Louis Gibbs

An interesting theory, indeed, and who can say with certainty it is or isn't true. E.T.s are a given to me, as perhaps they should be to any Brit, as England is the center of crop circle activity. I've had crop circles in two different gardens in two different states. It would be presumptuous to assume that humans are the pinnacle of evolution as a species.
Be that as it may, I really appreciate you boldly putting out this good poem for consideration and discussion, Brian. Kudos!

                          • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks Louis ~ I like to write about SCIENCE ~ Fact and Hypothesis ! Science &Technology moves so fast these days that Today's S Fiction is tomorrows S Fact. We have explored lass than 1% of the Moon so who knows ? Thanks for your comment ~ BRIAN

                          • Fay Slimm.

What an interesting view of the moon being hollow and not a natural satellite - however we have scripture to show it was created by God - so it still leaves many unanswered questions - a well crafted verse to set our minds going in all directions dear Brian.

                            • BRIAN & ANGELA

I mentioned in an earlier comment ~ that the MOON was created by GOD (Genesis 1 v 16) which for me accounts for it's unique Size ~ Position ~ Orbit & Function etc. Like you I accept that by FAITH ~ the ATHEISTS however need another explanation ~ one of which is "It came from Outer Space" and the Hollow Moon theory ! Thanks for your interest ~ Yours as ever BRIAN

                            • Goldfinch60

The moon may or may not be alien made but as far as I am concerned there are beings from other planets in the Universe it is only homo sapiens that are so arrogant and conceited to believe that they are the only ones in this Universe (or any other Universe come to that).

                              • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks ANDY ~ Your words are savoured with generous WISDOM ~ Why should H Sapiens be so Blessed. I am a CREATIONIST not an EVOLUTIONIST (and I speak as a Research Biochemist and a Committed Christian) so I accept the concept of ET (I am a Member of SETI ~ Search for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence) but with the codicil that "Life can only exist elsewhere in the Universe ~ I GOD so chose to create it" There is no evidence (yet) that "LIFE" can evolve spontaneously from inanimate biomolecules ~ however favourable the environment. The overwhelming evidence is that "There probably is a GOD !" Yours BRIAN
