AT LAST IN LOVE

Michael Edwards

AT LAST IN LOVE

Once undisposed to gather lilies

which grow in unattended lands

but now with eagerness to pluck

and place them in her tender hands.

To paint one of these pieces would be a success but to produce two different moods - - - loud applause for your watercolour offerings and of course that romantic verse too Michael.

Have to say Michael, I liked the last painting better.
As for the poem. Yes, love changes us, something we would not do in the past, we now do willingly.

The latest version of the art has become dark and foreboding. While the short poem is quite tender and warm. Is there a Jeckle and Hyde lurking in you today, Michael? Good write!

Sort of sweet and sour - thanks for looking in Louis.

The feeling of the two paintings are so dramatic. This one feel a bit melancholy, but the poem is so beautiful.
