ANGELA ON A BEACH ~ An Acrostic Sonnet

BRIAN & ANGELA

ANGELA  and I live very

Near a sandy beach and often

Go walking barefoot along the shore.

Everyone loves Angela ~ so

Lovely and graceful and slim ~ like

A Moovie Star on Location !

One by One the birds swoop around

Noticing how dove-like she is

A pure white Dove ~ gracing their beach !

Beaches everywhere are full of

Exotic Ladies ~ but none is

As serene and elegant ~ or

Causes flutter like Angela

Her presence transforms EVERYTHING !

Good write Brian. I'm not seeing it very well. It seems fuzzy. (Well, change the contrast, Orchi!). But I can see other poems clearly.

Thanks STEVE ~ It's called "True Love Focus" ~ It brings tears of JOY to my eyes as well ! The Local Council pay her to grace the beach every day ~ sales of ice cream and ice-cold coke go through the roof when ANGELA appears like a "Bare Foot Madonna" ~ Hot flushes do dim the vision ! Yours BRIAN

Ahh, that explains it then. It\'s not me contrast control gone funny! lol. But it is a light colour. Maybe needs to be a bit darker. We'll be squinting to read it otherwise.

Brian, no kidding, your poem reminds me of my wife walking the beaches with me here in Hawaii. There are so many beautiful girls and ladies, but for me there was always only one: her!

Thanks FRED ~ I've been to Hawaii and the local Ladies are BEAUTIFUL both in appearance and character. Like you I am a one-woman GUY ! BRIAN
