A place,
used to feel like home
so far away and strange now
Drifting in the dark
not knowing where I belong
blue jazz wet the air
broken heart seeks for healing
The road to home
It was so familiar
disappeared in vague light
Standing at the cross
can not distinguish the direction
I am lost
lost in this cold
dark dark night

So well written M&M! I know someday you will find your way....Hang in there! Christina
Thank you Christina, you are so kind. I sure will find my way when morning is here.
m&m, there is a light-house out there, waiting for you to show you the way! And before you know it, your poems will be upbeat again.
Thank you FP, the light-house will lead me to my future.
Probably one of the best writes I've seen for some time - it stands out from the others and so worthy of a fave spot !!
Thank you ME for save it. I am flattered.
Thanks M & M ~ Problem is with all the "Urban Change & Decay" we return to our BIRTHPLACE and don't even recognise it and nobody recognises us any more ! Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN
Thank you Brian for reading and comment.
M&M wonderful writing ,your light will shine on you without a doubt
Thanks WL for your kind words. Yes, sooner or later, the light will guide me to the road home.
It's interesting how what we once recognized can look different when we look back at it from a different point of view m&m. But rest assured, you'll pull through and be stronger for it. Excellent write.
Thanks AP for your support and the wise words.
Very good emotive write. Always remember that the light is there but sometimes it gets obscured but it is still there and will be there for you.
Thanks G for your kind words. One day, I will see the light and the road again.
