lots of friends ~ giving Presents
but who wraps them all ?
MOTHER CHRISTMAS of course ~ and
she grooms and feeds the REINDEER !
FATHER CHRISTMAS has
his picture on thousands of
Christmas Cards ~ where is
MOTHER CHRISTMAS ? In wash room
washing all the Christmas Sacks !
FATHER CHRISTMAS ~ His
job done ~ loves Christmas Dinner
Turkey ~ Christmas pud
brandy sauce ~ cheese & coffee !
Who cooks it ? MOTHER CHRISTMAS !

Behind every Great Man ~ there is always an even
Greater Woman and Father Christmas is no exception
Father Christmas has already appeared in the Grottos
on the Christmas Cards and Stamps and in very early
Nativity Plays ~ He's everywhere ! BUT ~ where is
Mother Christmas ? Always "behind the scenes" in
the packing shed supervising supervising the Elves
while her Husband travels the World ~ enjoying a
sherry and a cookie at millions of houses ! LADIES
please stand up for MOTHER CHRISTMAS and all
MOTHERS at Christmas ~

Thanks CHRISTINA ~ pleased you agree ! I have stayed in US Homes in the period leading up to THANKSGIVING (and CHRISTMAS !) and the Mothers toil from 7 am until midnight to enable their beloved Family ~ to Eat ~ Drink and Be Merry ~ It is the same in the UK and I guess worldwide ~ that is why we love & cherish you so much ! In the UK the Husbands generally make the Coffee ~ serve the Brandy and then go to sleep while the Ladies clear up & wash up ! Seasonal Hugs ~ Brother BRIAN
I always thought the elves did all the work.
They do some of it ANDY ~ but you (and I) both know what ELVES (and Fairies) are like if left to their own devices ! They need strict supervision and that is the role of MA CHRISTMAS ! Yours BRIAN

Thanks M & M ~ I like to highlight the part played by Ladies (such as the Blessed Virgin Mary) and the unsung Mother Christmas in the Christmas Story. Father Christmas (St Nicholas) was at the Council of Nicea 425 (where the Deity of Christ was confirmed) while the unsung Mrs Nicholas was at home looking after their Children ! Of course a Mother warrants attention especially at Christmas and this lovely mother most of all. I love the picture of a happy yuletide man with a strong woman beside him good fun poem with a serious message dear Brian.
